CHRISTMAS SEASON

This is what I hope for my family and friends this holiday season - JOY! This is an ornament on my tree that I like to find each year while unwrapping each ornament like it is Christmas Morning ... A mystery until they are fully unwrapped to see which one it is ... Tomorrow is Christmas Eve ~ Wishing my family & friends a Happy Holiday Season!

Light Between the Trees

I picked this photo (that I took many Fall Seasons ago) for today's post because during the past few weeks I have been doing research to unleash my creative ways ... Through photography and poetry ... To change up my photography style a bit, change up my writing style ... I named this photo "Light Between the Trees" and it always makes me realize that I am meant to hold a camera ... Meant to live in that moment ... Meant to be one with nature ... This is where I belong ... Nice to have found my quiet place ... Even though snow was falling on my ride home tonight - I still wanted to go with a Fall photo ... My favorite season ...

Antiques & Traditions

Today had me thinking of "The Old Days" - Antiques, Rag dolls, Attic treasures Etc - It is Christmas Week, so I always get a little nostalgic during this time of the year - Thinking of my Grandmother, the traditions we used to have - Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day ... How things have changed since her passing ... How some things have stayed the same ... I look forward to Friday and Saturday when we get to see our families ... Always nice to be together!

Angels Above Us

The first snowfall this evening on my way home has me thinking that we may have a White Christmas, after all. The angel attached to this email symbolizes the loss of Al's Mom during this holiday season. I am hoping she is no longer suffering and she is at peace. It is hard to believe that 2010 will be coming a close soon ... I hope 2011 brings health & happiness to my family and friends ...

1 Year Anniversary - The Beginning

Today marks our 1 Year and 1 Month Wedding Anniversary - I am thinking it would have sounded better to start on my blog on our 1 Year Anniversary, but I just recently came upon Liz Lamoreaux's INNER EXCAVATION which has fueled my creatives juices ... Thanks, Liz! I received Liz'z book over the weekend, and I have been enjoying it. I hope to purchase a small Canon Powershot to start carrying around with me - So I do not miss out on any photography opportunities while I am out and about!
