Living In the Moment

I was going through the pictures I have taken over the Summer - I came across this photo I took at the beach - Perhaps it is my love of animals, perhaps it was when I turned the photo into an old fashioned feel, maybe it was just the moment I caught - But I really like this one - I took more photos than I originally thought, so I am sure I will post a few more before Summers End ... Is there a photo you just savor, for special reasons? or just because?

Today is a close to another week - Happy Friday, Everyone - I thought I would post a picture that I had taken late day in my Dining Room - No Flash Photography takes on a life of its own to me - Almost brings me to another "Time", Somehow ... I tend to like everything "Before My Time" - The Movies, the Music, the Style of Clothing etc ... There was a song when my folks were growing up titled, "Born Too Late" ... I feel this song was written for me ...I love the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s - What "Time" speaks to you?

I have been doing some soul searching lately - Where I thought I would be professionally at this age, where I am headed? Where will I go with my Writing? My Photography? Hopefully furthering all of these interests ... I came across this quote online and it really spoke to me ... Just loved it ... It made alot of sense to me ... What is your favorite quote?

This week has been a true week of exploring ~ As you can see from the photo I chose today, I have been dabbling in Photoshop and Paintshop ~ Some people watch TV and really enjoy just that ~ I find myself "exploring" my way through editing programs WHILE watching TV ~ It turns into a game of "What will I create tonight?" ... What do you do while watching TV? Knit? Sew? Sketch?

Last week, I decided to enter Cathy Bueti's Give-away, and to my surprise I was the "Winner". What is it about a chunky bracelet, a pair of jeans and a nice top that makes a casual dinner out seem so comfortable? This is me ... Casual Me ... So women love being in high heels and feeling pretty ... Some women love being in skirts and dresses ... I always seem to go for the more casual look with a chunky bracelet.
