Finding Buried Treasure ...

As I continue with Living in the Moment, I seem to be finding (as I like to call it) buried treasures . Such as this picture above. I love how she is taking her reality and turning into something new and beautiful. The more I write, the more I feel that the colors change for me. The grey areas now have color. The sun shines a bit brighter. I am so glad I followed my intuition and landed in this creative space. What journey have you taken that has brought color to your life?

Farm Stand Time ...

I was asked to start posting a bit more of my "own" photography on my blog. I love hearing from all of you, so I am listening to your requests. Today I decided to post a photo I took recently as a local Farm Stand. I do like posting work from other artists and writing about how their work speaks to me, but I do have a lot of my own photography to share, as well. I love taking a regular photo and playing in Photoshop to make it different. This photo was originally in color, but the farm stand reminded me of long ago - So changing it to Sepia made it more real to me. It reminds me of a photo that you would have seen in a newspaper years ago ... When you see a photo like this, what memories does it bring back for you?

Welcome to Whimsical Wednesday ...

Each week when I think of Whimsical Wednesday's post, I search for the "true" vision that I have in my mind. I had a picture with Mermaids, Fairies or Unicorns - This painting included them all! I also loved the moon on one side and the sunrise on the other. The splash of the unicorns running, the mermaid looking on, and the waves crashing over. On some days, I like to think "Magic" does happen. When was the last time you witnessed a magical moment?

Message in a Bottle ...

I have always been intrigued with this idea ~ Placing a message inside of a bottle and seeing where it ends up ~ I was also taken by this movie, Message in a Bottle. I have spoken to friends about this movie., and everyone seems to have a different. I have some friends that have lost a spouse, and cannot bear to watch it.  I have other friends that are intrigued by the love story, and the search for the man behind these words. What are your thoughts on this subject?

Music Monday ...

Welcome to Music Monday - Today I wanted to feature Sarah McLachlan - She has been a favorite of mine for many years now. I think it was the first time I heard "I Will Remember You" that I needed to research this artist. Soon afterwards, I was taken by "Angel", "Adia" and "Fallen". If I had to pick my favorite I think I would have to say "Building a Mystery" would have to be the one. The lyrics are so profound and meaningful. "Afterglow" still seems to be a favorite CD of mine, to this day. I am always amazed that I find myself going back to music from past years. What artist do you find yourself going back to?

Seeing The Light ...

Lately, I have been "looking" for the "Light" around me. Seeking the positive, trying to see where I am headed. I find each new season helps me to see things clearer. I enjoy "Seeing the Light" ... Finally being "in the know" ... I am hoping for a week of enlightenment ... What type of week are you looking forward to?
