Living In the Moment

I have to say, that I have been looking forward to Spring for awhile and I am thrilled that it is here ... During a long winter, I often miss opening the windows, taking walks with a cool breeze, visiting a pond not too far from our home etc ... Spring makes it possible for all of this to happen ... This photo was taken when I was doing local errands around town ... I could not miss out shooting this beautiful yellow and red tulip!

This time of year makes me feel the most creative, out of all the seasons ... It makes me ask myself -  How can I improve my photography this year? What can I do better? How I change things up? What can I learn? Who will I meet that will inspire me? What will I see that will turn my attention to something new and refreshing? Looking forward to the challenge ...

I needed to add this new post, as well - Please click on the actual picture to get the full effect. This picture was taken with Mother's Day Mums ... I am a person who likes to play constantly - I take these photos and try to make them better, different and more unique. I consider Photography a true art form. I am hoping to improve with each passing day and year. Thank you to all my friends and family that have been following me on this wonderful journey ... What is your favorite flower? 

I took this photo last Spring in my backyard garden. I have always liked the light that was captured, so I played a bit in Photoshop and this was my result. I wanted it to "glow" and show the extra light that came in. I hope you enjoy it, as much as I did creating it!
