Peony Profile ...

I am raising my wine glass to the beginning of this Spring like weekend ~ I often wonder if there is place on earth, that it is like Spring, all year long? I love weather with a nice breeze, sunshine and no humidity ... Please introduce me to the real estate agent that could find me a home in this make believe place - Which leads me to my photo that was chosen for today - the Peony. I often desribe them as Pink Snowballs! I love all their layers of petals ... Beautiful color, love the fullness of this flower, they bring a smile to my face ... Enjoy!

Bird in Paradise ...

Today is a beautiful, non-humid, sunny day! I love days like this. I chose to post this pic of St Martin's Tropical Bird for a few reasons - First, I remember how cool and crisp it was when I took this photo. She was lovely, I would look to see every morning, if she was perched in her nest. Secondly, I took the advice of a wonderful creative friend - To post this photo on my blog! Enjoy the day, Everyone!

Itsy Bitsy Spider - Flower!

Today is a bit less humid than the past few days ~ But I am still thinking of the Tropics because I hear the humidity is returning tomorrow ~ On that note, I am posting another St Martin Tropical Flower (excuse my ignorance for not knowing the name of this flower, as well). I call this one "My Tropical Spider Flower" ... I had seen this unique flowering plant a few times before I decided to shoot it ... I am sure that you have noticed (if you have read my previous posts) that I admire items that are truly unique ... This one "Tops The Charts" ...

Hazy, Hot & Humid ...

Another very hot & humid day here ~ Therefore, I thought another Tropical Flower Photo was appropriate ~ I have no idea what this flower is, but I refer to it as "The Waffle Flower". This flower is also from our vacation in St Martin ... Just fun flowers that we just do not see around here ... If anyone knows what this flower is called, I would love to know ... Stay cool, Everyone!

Tropical Memories ...

Seeing that it "feels" like the Tropics today - I thought I would pick a tropical flower to post ... This was from our trip to St Martin ... I remember standing there just admiring its color and beauty ... The weathermen are telling us that we might be in for a week of humidity - So I may have to do a bit more digging for another Tropical Flower or 2 to show this week ...
