A New Normal ...

Photography by Kristine  A NEW NORMAL ... This year has been much different than I thought it would be when I wrote my first post back in January.  First, Corona Virus: Causing life changing lockdowns and many deaths world wide.  Times are improving with different phases allowing more businesses to open, as we move into a new normal wearing face masks and speaking through plexiglass. Secondly, the Death of George Floyd, a black man who died in Minneapolis while a white police officer knelt on his neck resulting in his death. Causing demonstrations and riots in many states. If we think we have done enough over the years we have not. It is never enough to make us all feel as one. I am looking into how I can be more visible, more involved and to make a small difference in this world of ours. If we all do our part, there will be a better tomorrow. How are you in your corner of the world?  I would love to hear from you.  I am hoping well and safe.

Happy New Year To All !!!

As I enter into this new decade, I become more mindful of the small changes that can bring about large choices.  NEW YEAR PRACTICES As one who does not believe in resolutions, I have been thinking of better practices that we can all attempt, in hope of making our planet a healthier one.  Here are a few changes we could try: Minimize paper products Be mindful of reusable water bottles  Research rechargeable batteries instead of replacements Use bar soap instead of body wash plastic bottles Consider a wooden toothbrush instead of plastic  Think of a quality metal razor opposed to disposables Make your own air fresheners with essential oils & water Small changes can make a difference!  Can you think of other ways to improve our surroundings?  Happy 2020, Everyone !!!
