This time of year makes me feel the most creative, out of all the seasons ... It makes me ask myself - How can I improve my photography this year? What can I do better? How I change things up? What can I learn? Who will I meet that will inspire me? What will I see that will turn my attention to something new and refreshing? Looking forward to the challenge ...

Kristine, I am obviously too stupid for these "computer things", I just found out how to find "My Yahoo" on Yahoo page, and that's where the notifications about your posts are! I am sorry for my absence, but now I know where to look and I'm going to visit your blog regularly. It is about giving support to each others work and I'm sorry I missed you posts. But, when I saw this one, I thought about what you said - looking for something that will inspire you - and maybe we could set up a challenge (and I haven't figured it out yet, I'm thinking while I'm writing this) but maybe if we choose a word, or a color, or a few colors, or anything really, and then make something that comes to our mind. It could be a photograph, a card, an ATC, anything! Just something that would be an inspiration and a connection for our work. Maybe some of your friends would like to join, that would be fun! What do you think?

Sonja ~ Please do not feel badly about the notifications - It took me awhile also to figure out how things really work in this new computer age - You have always been so supportive of me, no apologies needed!
ReplyDeleteI would love to do a challenge - What should we start with? How long will we have to make it? What color should be pick? Love this idea - Count me in :)
Why don't we start with a word? We could choose a word, and then make something, it doesn't matter what, just something that is inspired by that word, and that doesn't take too much time to be made. What about "Love" - that's easy, right? Maybe we could set up a time limit? And then post on our blogs what we came up with. Or even better, we could make something small that we could send to each other! What do you think? Our little "Art Swap" :)
