Why is it - Every year I miss the beach more and more in the Dead of Winter? This is a photo that was taken on our St Martin vacation a few years ago ... This was my favorite shot ... There is nothing like a Carribean Sunset ... Thanks for checking in!

Every New Year makes me think of "Believing" - So I thought this photo was appropriate for todays post. I am hopeful for 2011, so I have to "Believe" it will be a good year ... I "Believe" it will be ... This bookmark reminds me to have faith - in a new day, a new year and in myself ...

Happy New Year to my Family & Friends! I am wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year ... It seems the past few years have been difficult for many families we know, and I am hoping 2011 brings happiness to all ... This week had me thinking in a creative way ~ I took on a new photography project, saw my Dad take a new life journey, and ended the week welcoming in a new year ... It is a new beginning, a clean slate, out with old and in with the new ... On many levels ...

It is only fair that I post a pic of my other beloved baby, Sophie ~ after my previous post of Thompson. These are the two little furries that make our house a home! My ride to work this morning was like driving through a Winter Wonderland ... We received approx 20 + inches of snow yesterday ... Just beautiful ... I have to admit, I like looking at it better from indoors, but once the roads are clear it is always beautiful to drive around seeing the snow blanketing the neighborhood ...

Here we are - 2 Days after Christmas and we had close to 20 inches of snow - Beautiful to look at, not so beautiful to drive in - Lucky we are home - Hubby and I along with our 2 cats - (Thompson pictured here ... I call this his Portrait Studio Shot (even thought he was just posing for Mommy!) & Sophie) took a Snow Day (as they say ...) - They found the new warm blanket that we got for Christmas and took a nice long nap on it - We had some yummy lasagna and the day flew by ...

It is the day after Christmas ~ We had a nice visit with my folkes on Christmas Eve and we spent Christmas morning with my husbands side visiting and then the afternoon with mine ... Always nice to be all together! I purchased a Canon Powershot today ... I am anxious to receive it ... I would like to do the 365 Project - Taking a picture a day for a year ... I think I would like to see what pics I have collected after a project like this ... Hoping all my family & friends enjoyed a joyous holiday weekend!

This is what I hope for my family and friends this holiday season - JOY! This is an ornament on my tree that I like to find each year while unwrapping each ornament like it is Christmas Morning ... A mystery until they are fully unwrapped to see which one it is ... Tomorrow is Christmas Eve ~ Wishing my family & friends a Happy Holiday Season!
