A Thought is only a Thought ...


This was the affirmation card that I picked for today ~ This seems symbolic of what I have been going through ~ Many thoughts come and go on my writing, my photography - Where I want to head with these essays, photos etc ... We have so many thoughts during the course of a day ... What have you been thinking about?

    I like these cards! Inspirational and colorful. I have been thinking about my work, what new things to start making, etc. Also, I'm constantly thinking about "the trip", you know which one K :)

    This card jumped right off the page! Having lived to learn how to make a negative thought into a positive is very easy. IT is just like changing a bad dream into a happy dream. OUr minds are so powerful! Do you make these cards ... love this one in particular!

    Hi Linda ~ Thanks for chiming in ~ No, I purchased this Deck of 64 Cards - They are called WISDOM CARDS by Louise Hay - You can find them on Amazon.com - I also purchased POWER THOUGHT CARDS, that I like just as much. Please let me know if you choose to purchase them. I find them very inspirational!

Love Story in Burlington, VT ...

It started the morning I decided to visit Muddy Waters (Coffee House) in Burlington, Vermont. I was told by the locals that if I was looking for a quiet place to write and enjoy a good cup of java, this was the place. I entered into a few different level rooms containing booths, cozy benches and chairs. After ordering an Iced Machiatto, I settled into a nice corner bench adjacent to a bookshelf. It was quiet, the perfect seat to get some reading done. My reason for spending a quiet morning here was to work through a few more chapters in The Artist's Way. (Julia Cameron's ~ Guide to Inspire Artists). Upon looking around, I noticed that there was a small, rolled up piece of paper tucked away in the brick wall behind me. At first, I was not sure whether to take it out and read it, or not. Perhaps I have seen too many "Candid - Punked" like shows, and someone was watching my every move. Pushing these paranoid thoughts aside, I reached over, read it and I was elated
