Heart Day on Saturday ...


I wanted to start this post by "Catching Up" ... Unfortunately, I was unable to post on Valentine's Day - So I am celebrating "Heart Day" today here on Living In The Moment ...

    Here in my small part of the world Valentine's Day is not that much celebrated, so I didn't do anything special, except having fun with hubby walking on snowy day, feeding birds by the river and watching our dog having fun in the snow. It was a great day. :)

    Sonja - I am so glad you wrote - Valentine's is not a world wide holiday, but I like to hear what others are up to - A Snow Day with the family sounds like a wonderful way to the spend the day - Wish I was there with ya!

Love Story in Burlington, VT ...

It started the morning I decided to visit Muddy Waters (Coffee House) in Burlington, Vermont. I was told by the locals that if I was looking for a quiet place to write and enjoy a good cup of java, this was the place. I entered into a few different level rooms containing booths, cozy benches and chairs. After ordering an Iced Machiatto, I settled into a nice corner bench adjacent to a bookshelf. LETTERS ACROSS THE MILES  Dear Jennifer, I am quite excited to be sharing this journey of "Old Fashioned Letter Writing" (online) with you ... It is a long lost personal touch that needs to be revisited. We live in a world of Tweets, IMs & text messages - Time to Get Back to Basics!
