Welcoming Fall - My Favorite Season

WELCOME TO MY FAVORITE SEASON!

( I realize I am a bit anxious - But I truly cannot wait ...)

This makes me think of so many "Good Things in Life" ...
Brings back The Patriots (Football in New England),
Comfort Food, Cooler Weather, Zip-Up Sweatshirts, Crock Pot Dinners etc ...
I could go on and on.

The photos above are my original photos, taken in and around the Western MA area ...
New England shines in the Fall - It is the best time to come and see what our state has to offer!

By the way, What is your favorite season and why?

  1. Favorite seasons have to be autumn and holiday season! Funny you should write about fall - this past weekend i decorated a little with fall 'things' around the home and office. A coworker mentioned to me that I was 'rushing' summer out. To be honest - Labor Day has come and gone, kids are back in school, NFL had the opening game last night and on my trip up to Meredith NH this past weekend, I did notice the leaves starting (barely...) to change...so bring on the fall!

  3. Kristine, the photographs are lovely. I think my favourite seasons are summer and autumn, I love the warmth of the sun, and also the changing colours you get as the season changes - the reds, oranges and browns of the leaves. Amanda

A YEAR IN PHOTO COLLAGES ...

Love Story in Burlington, VT ...

It started the morning I decided to visit Muddy Waters (Coffee House) in Burlington, Vermont. I was told by the locals that if I was looking for a quiet place to write and enjoy a good cup of java, this was the place. I entered into a few different level rooms containing booths, cozy benches and chairs. After ordering an Iced Machiatto, I settled into a nice corner bench adjacent to a bookshelf. It was quiet, the perfect seat to get some reading done. My reason for spending a quiet morning here was to work through a few more chapters in The Artist's Way. (Julia Cameron's ~ Guide to Inspire Artists). Upon looking around, I noticed that there was a small, rolled up piece of paper tucked away in the brick wall behind me. At first, I was not sure whether to take it out and read it, or not. Perhaps I have seen too many "Candid - Punked" like shows, and someone was watching my every move. Pushing these paranoid thoughts aside, I reached over, read it and I was elated
