Snow Days ...

Living in New England my entire life, you would think I would be used to snow. I love looking at it from indoors, just not driving in it. I do have a four wheel drive, so you would also think I would be fine with it, but each Winter brings on some anxiety.

I took this photo in my kitchen window during our last snowstorm. The visibility was just as you see it, and I wanted to see how this would look. As I am sure you have figured out by now, I love playing with photography ...It brings me great joy!

What anxiety are you trying to let go of in the New Year?

  1. I always used to get excited about the snow, when my son was younger I would take him out to build a snowman - I think I was more excited than him. It would also mean no trains so we would get time off work. Now my circumstances have changed and having different kinds of responsibility means that it gets in the way. We've not yet had our cold snap that leads to snow over here in London yet...can't say Im looking forward to it, hope it passes us by and the warmer weather rolls in. Enjoying your photography by the way!

    1. Always nice to hear from you, Amanda -- I am hoping your Winter is short lived -- I agree, playtime in the snow is fun, but when the daily routine kicks in, it usually causes complications ... Thanks for so much for your nice words ...
