Thinking - Maine!

This month reminds me of Maine ~ Visiting with my folks every Summer ~ Seeing the ocean after a long Winter in New England ~ Smelling the ocean air ~ Feeling the soft sand on my feet ~ Sitting in a beach chair with a wonderful book ~ Such great memories of growing up visiting the shore ~ This is why I posted this picture I took on our way to Boothbay Harbor in Maine ~ I think this photo speaks "Maine" ~ Well, at least to me it does - LOL

  3. Thank you so much, Sonja ~ I think becoming friends with you has really brightened my days ~ It seems we can connect on so many levels ~ Girlfriends are great for that ~ Yes, The beach has always been a special place for me ~ My Dad loved the beach and I have fond memories throughout my life of the beach ~ Wish I could see it more ~ We live far away from the ocean now, so heading to Maine is real treat! Hoping your vacation is closer than you think - Wear your swimsuit in the shower, until then - LOL

I wanted to touch upon your recent thoughts on "Perfection". I, too, find myself procrastinating over starting new projects. The fear I will not be able to finish what I start. My second thought is failing myself for not going the distance. I was amazed with a few quick chats and we were out of the gate running with this new column - and new additions to our blogs, "Letters Across the Miles". I think this is the "Push" that we both needed to jump right in! Funny, how you also mentioned how our grade school teachers would ask us to "Show Them Our Work" when it came to Math problems ...and weaving this theme into real life. Can yo...
