Whimsical Wednesday ... Flying High

~ Reach, Seek, Look and Dream ~
~ These Words Resonate With Me ~

As I have mentioned in earlier posts, I am a part of Jodi LeBrun's Share-A-Palooza - I have been flying high (like the girl in the above photo) with creative energy ~ I love connecting with other women that love the arts. I have met women interested in so many things - Coaching, Photography, Writing, Cooking etc and we are only halfway through the week ~ I look forward to seeing what else Jodi has in store for us ...

When was the last time you were flying high?

Comments

  1. Every time I create I feel like I'm flying high! The inspiration, the need to materialize those feelings and ideas in my mind is wonderful! For me, that is the best!

  2. Yes, I feel this every time I see your work, Sonja - I go through the same feelings when I have a new writing idea or a new way photography idea!

  3. The last time I was flying high happened just this past week, when I managed to pull out of a nose dive. The portrait painting was looking like a dasaster, when somehow (?) she started to look pretty good. After she was all finished my main emotions were flying high !

Love Story in Burlington, VT ...

It started the morning I decided to visit Muddy Waters (Coffee House) in Burlington, Vermont. I was told by the locals that if I was looking for a quiet place to write and enjoy a good cup of java, this was the place. I entered into a few different level rooms containing booths, cozy benches and chairs. After ordering an Iced Machiatto, I settled into a nice corner bench adjacent to a bookshelf. It was quiet, the perfect seat to get some reading done. My reason for spending a quiet morning here was to work through a few more chapters in The Artist's Way. (Julia Cameron's ~ Guide to Inspire Artists). Upon looking around, I noticed that there was a small, rolled up piece of paper tucked away in the brick wall behind me. At first, I was not sure whether to take it out and read it, or not. Perhaps I have seen too many "Candid - Punked" like shows, and someone was watching my every move. Pushing these paranoid thoughts aside, I reached over, read it and I was elated
