I thought this image was appropriate for how I am feeling today. I seemed to have gotten a second wind with being creative this year. I am excited to tell you about my new treasure in writing. It is a newfound website (that I found in a column in Oprah's Nov 2011 magazine) called 750Words.com. This site follows the steps of Julia Cameron's The Artists Way. It helps you work towards a better writing style. It encourages you to write 750 words a day. This is approximately 3 typewritten pages of words. I am finding it easier to pick a theme (from Patti Digh's LIFE IS A VERB book - Thanks, Patti!) to help create daily themes. Please cheer me on to continue this daily ritual. Have you started a new routine that you would like to share?
Welcome To Living in the Moment - Thanks for visiting my blog. Grab a cup of coffee and stay awhile ... I would love to have you along for this journey ... ~Kristine
Inspiration for me comes from awesome artwork of others...Some I know are art masters with wonderful imagination~!! Oh, not to copy, but to feel like I could accomplish as well...When that urge to create pops in, then I am ready to try and answer the call...
ReplyDeleteMargaret - I agree - When I see the work of others, I feel so inspired - I feel the same way, not to copy - Just to try my hand at what I see, to see what my interpretation would look like ... Keep Smiling & Creating!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Margaret. I also find inspiration in nature. But sometimes it just comes to me with no reason, or leaves me just the same. :) I never know...
ReplyDeleteSonja - This is exactly what happens with me - Sometimes I awake with a thought in my head of what I want to photograph on that day, and then other days I am at a loss and then I am inspired by someone else's work ... Each day is different, Absolutely!
