It is a rainy Thursday here in New England. As I write this I can hear the cars going by, and splashing in the puddles. When I was younger, I did not like the rain. Somehow, Rainy days are refreshing to me as I get older. I think of it as a break from extremely warm days. Sort of like a cleansing for a better to come.
I have kept this photo for quite sometime, for the perfect post. I chose to use it today. Do you find yourself saving something for the right moment? Like using only the good china and flatware for the holidays? Or saving a new candle when company is coming over? Or holding onto a bottle of champagne for a special celebration? I would love to hear your thoughts ...

Lovely photo Kristine!
ReplyDeleteYes, I do that all the time! I always have "something" put aside for people I love and want to surprise them when the moment is right. I even bought something for my husband as a part of the Christmas gift! I had to; it was so sweet, and I thought-"I'll buy it and hide it, because it might be sold later". :)
Great hearing from you, Sonja - Yes - I would imagine that you are the type of person who keeps special things aside, for the right person - Very thoughtful. I love doing the same thing, it makes it extra special knowing we purchased these items with the person in mind :)
