Flying High ...

This was the perfect photo for how I am feeling after attending Jen Louden's, Patti Digh and Susan Piver's Writing Workshop over the past 2 days ... This was a new experience for me ... There were so many wonderful things taught to us ... Writing Prompts, 10 Min to 1 Hour writing sessions, Ways to do away with excuses not to write etc ... I knew I always "liked" to write, but this confirmed that I truly "love" the writing craft. So I am still flying high from this experience ... When was the last class, course or workshop you attended?

  1. I'm so glad you had such a wonderful experience at the Writing Workshop Kristine! There is always something new to learn, and I love that! The last time I attended a course...hmmm...well, it wasn't really a course but more like a play day with my artistic friend. We had a great time playing with clay and I learned a lot. Great feeling! :)

  2. Thank you for being so happy for me, regarding the Writing Workshop. Yes, Learning is so inspiring. I so wish we could have "Creative Days" together - Perhaps we can, Someday - Let's keep thinking of that day - You can show me how to weave and I will show you a few tips on photography - How does that sound?

Love Story in Burlington, VT ...

It started the morning I decided to visit Muddy Waters (Coffee House) in Burlington, Vermont. I was told by the locals that if I was looking for a quiet place to write and enjoy a good cup of java, this was the place. I entered into a few different level rooms containing booths, cozy benches and chairs. After ordering an Iced Machiatto, I settled into a nice corner bench adjacent to a bookshelf. It was quiet, the perfect seat to get some reading done. My reason for spending a quiet morning here was to work through a few more chapters in The Artist's Way. (Julia Cameron's ~ Guide to Inspire Artists). Upon looking around, I noticed that there was a small, rolled up piece of paper tucked away in the brick wall behind me. At first, I was not sure whether to take it out and read it, or not. Perhaps I have seen too many "Candid - Punked" like shows, and someone was watching my every move. Pushing these paranoid thoughts aside, I reached over, read it and I was elated
