  5. Wow ! Finally, I've been able to post a comment on your blog, like a normal person, as opposed to an abbynormal person !
Now that I'm here, I don't want to go home.
What do I dream about ? My dream is to live a long life, enjoying my family and making art , swimming all year long, praying and believeing, eating and sleeping.
[ ' Journal For * Tomorrow * ' is just a place where I've been stashing videos-Not a real blog at all. I wish my comment said ' Elizabeth said ', but I'm afraid to change anything for fear I'll loose You , again ! ]

  6. Kristine, your blog is gorgeous!!! I love the new look! So light, airy, feminine, optimistic. Absolutely a joy! And this photo you shared today, oh, so wonderful! What strikes me the most are the colors. I get a feel of a fairytale, dreams, childhood memories...hard to explain, but I love it!

Love Story in Burlington, VT ...

It started the morning I decided to visit Muddy Waters (Coffee House) in Burlington, Vermont. I was told by the locals that if I was looking for a quiet place to write and enjoy a good cup of java, this was the place. I entered into a few different level rooms containing booths, cozy benches and chairs. After ordering an Iced Machiatto, I settled into a nice corner bench adjacent to a bookshelf. It was quiet, the perfect seat to get some reading done. My reason for spending a quiet morning here was to work through a few more chapters in The Artist's Way. (Julia Cameron's ~ Guide to Inspire Artists). Upon looking around, I noticed that there was a small, rolled up piece of paper tucked away in the brick wall behind me. At first, I was not sure whether to take it out and read it, or not. Perhaps I have seen too many "Candid - Punked" like shows, and someone was watching my every move. Pushing these paranoid thoughts aside, I reached over, read it and I was elated...

All about Hope ...

I thought this image was appropriate for how I am feeling today. I seemed to have gotten a second wind with being creative this year. I am excited to tell you about my new treasure in writing. It is a newfound website (that I found in a column in Oprah's Nov 2011 magazine) called 750Words.com. This site follows the steps of Julia Cameron's The Artists Way. It helps you work towards a better writing style. It encourages you to write 750 words a day. This is approximately 3 typewritten pages of words. I am finding it easier to pick a theme (from Patti Digh's LIFE IS A VERB book - Thanks, Patti!) to help create daily themes. Please cheer me on to continue this daily ritual.  Have you started a new routine that you would like to share?
