My oldest puddleduck, age 5, responded to his mother, when told to write down what he would like from Santa: I don't know how to spell all that and I will tell him when I visit him at the mall and tell him face to face....I love the truth & simplicity youngsters express. I pay attention to that now I am a Nana♥
ReplyDeleteI love this story, Prudence ~ Honesty + Innocence = Smile ...
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post Kristine! Now, what makes me smile? So many things - my dog sleeping on the sofa like he owns it and then we get to sit on the little corner not to disturb him! :) Then, butterflies, birds, violets, my hubby being silly, a first flower in the Spring, sunny Winter day...So many things!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post, it's always good to remember all those things that make us smile.
Thanks, Sonja - I love hearing about Meda sleeping and not wanting to disturb him - Love so many of the same things you do - This is why we are such great friends!
